Responsibilities
- Lead a communication department with ~16 employees, overseeing staff, operations, and budget
- Provide strategic and operational communication support to managers and spokespersons
- Develop communication function and collaborate with other departments for Region Norrbotten's mission
Requirements
- Education in communication, journalism, or equivalent
- Very strong written and spoken Swedish
- Experience with qualified communication work including web, social media, and opinion building
- Knowledge of strategic communication, PR, and crisis communication
- Experience leading employees with full HR and workplace environment responsibility
- Knowledge of budget and financial follow-up
- Understanding of politically governed organizations
