Responsibilities
- Lead and develop the urban development department with overall responsibility for operations, economy, and personnel (approx. 20 staff)
- Coordinate complex cross-departmental strategic issues and manage external contacts at municipal, regional, and national levels
- Oversee strategic physical planning, land/exploitation, housing, business development, and sustainability initiatives
Requirements
- Relevant academic degree (e.g., urban planning, political science, or equivalent)
- Several years of documented experience as strategic manager in municipal or politically governed organization
- Experience in leading managers
- Good knowledge of construction processes including land/exploitation and strategic physical planning
